The Sea Spark jacquard tapestry and baby sling from 100% cotton produced in Czech Republic is inspired by the night blue luminous sea, which shines every summer on hot summer days in the Dutch North Sea with small blue sparks as soon as you touch it, and which also reminded me of this dream: The dream of a deep night sea Where you can capture the spark of new life In the indistinguishability of being Into the container of your body A celebration of a new life coming From the big mother, the Milky Way Glowing blue color and it's scary and good

Tapestry Ghost in White clothes (black + strawberry colors) is inspired by traditional Japanese kimonos with flat patterns, creating the illusion of a space without perspective, where I depict emelents from our lives intertwined with dreamy: We run away from the stone city at night and are chased by a giant ghost. The ghost then lands down into the running crowd, shrinks to our size, and also screams and runs, and then throws a grimacing grimace at me (as the foxes run away in front of himself), and it's probably a holy spirit, but it has slippers and a spiritual robe. He offers to take me to the left along the sea and shows me something, I go with him and there is a beginning flood and waves and he says that he will soon sweep the barracks (he seems indifferent to him) and ask if I want to live . I'll say yes. And I see a spark and it is situated in the sea and also in it and in me, it is not clear where exactly, everywhere it has a center. And the floods settle and first comes a nurse in hunting country clothes.

Woven tapestry produced in Textil museum in Textiel Lab in Tilburg is a collage of my paintings I made throught several years and connected in to a collage with no perspective and non linear timing where a lot is happening at the same time as well as in our dreams and while my night dreams are often inspiration for my work and I do recreate a map of unconscious space overlapping with my day light rality. This specific tapestry is probably representing the way home and new things comming, possible thanks to friendshi between frites and traditional cake..between mainstream and deeper original direction which is also represented by that read had Griphon in the middle a combination of 3 animals at once and probably representing my Self:)

I ued elements of Glasgow architecture and overlapped that with my associations and nigh dream on that theme.

Ayo, Kateřina Gabriel Konarovská 25.09.2020 - 18.10.2020 For as long as humanity has had access to fire and people have had the time and opportunity to tell each other stories around the campfire, storytelling has been an intrinsic part of culture. When religion arrived, storytelling became even more prominent. –It is a way to share spiritual experiences with one another, by telling - often mystical - stories. With the advent of the internet and contemporary sources such as YouTube, podcast or modern encyclopedia like Wikipedia where anyone can add or edit a page, the transmission of stories from generation to generation, or re-inventing traditional storytellers like modern-day griots, storytelling becomes easier to disseminate and share. Expoplu Experiment: Modern-day Griots and tapped train conversations is a duo exhibition with two artists that transformed the exhibition space of Expoplu into a sprightly, vibrant studio during a ten day working period. An experiment in which meeting, collaboration and exchanging each other's materials and methodologies are central. For this edition of Expoplu Experiment, Ayo and Konarovská’s shared fondness for collecting stories, both autobiographical and adapted, has been the starting point for an exciting collaboration. The artists have been given a free hand to create a new (collaborative) work within the walls of Expoplu.

I wanted to show a vision of a wild city person free even in the consuming yet empty city society. Vision represented by parkour athletes, musician Lyckle De Jong, video by Kolya Tirado and my textile pattern prints worn by them during this Den Haag city centrum performance. I draw images for fabric pasterns I edited in PC program, and sew clothes. The images were based on a dialogue with parkour athletes, discussing Millennial generation city life. A factory to print it for me on natural materials of fabric (cotton and bamboo). The clothes was combination of sport man and shaman costume, as I wanted to find a balance between past tribe spiritual life and today man. I asked Lyckle de Jong to make a music combining electronic and acoustic elements to support this idea. The athletes and musician wore my clothes while jumping in front of shops in the city centrum accompanied by Lyckle live music. I hoped to inspire other consuming citizens to follow own wild way and fill their souls instead. City shaman dresses, music performance and parkour was documented at: Turfmarkt in front of Albert, Grote Mark Straat in front of McD and at Grote markt square close by Haagse Harry sculpture to bring the inspiration to visitors of the shops, who might not be interested in art and were the most important target of the project. I was very happy I could connect young professionals in their own field and we all would contribute to this plan. The performance was documented by Kolya Tirado, young videographer, who is interested in free-running and who tried to connect the video atmosphere with my idea and music. He made a short documentation and succeed to present Den Haag city in its mysterious and magic form. Thank you Stroom Den Haag for supporting this project, thank you Jump-Freerun Ninja Academy for jumping, Kolya Tirado for video and Lyckle do Jong for music.

I´m using a royal technique of woven tapestry, to represent ordinary humans with their shadow activities, in order to connect high and low, good and bad aspect, that use to be disconnected in our mind and making us uncompleted. To make that work, besides the form itself, I use beauty of the nature as a harmony holder and mood expression, together with great woolen and other yarns.
