My work focusses on the narrative qualities of experiences I’ve had or imagine I have had and through the use of more process based media, such as drawing and video, I use these experiences to create otherworldly stories.
In my work I use humour as a strategy to look at issues that are more sensitive or to look at the more darker corners of certain experiences.
I’m interested in how certain stories, though fictional, can provoke very real feelings and emotions. I love to stretch logics when coming up with stories that are based on characteristics of me so that I can experience new senses of being me.
