With this work I let the viewer think about the making process. Both works are made with a machine, first a computer, then a cutting plotter. Am I still the maker of the work? And what remains of the value of this work if the material is unsustainable and cheap?

One of the pictures made for the installation "Restruct" as a part of the exhibition “As we know it” about life in the year 2345. This picture proposes a way of dressing that is born out of urgency and a need for protection. What to wear if your street is flooded?

2021Ondertussen Stroom The Hague, Netherlands At the beginning of September Laura Snijders started converting the Ondertussen space into a temporary studio, from which she can work towards a presentation that will gradually develop and unfold over time. As a point of departure she asks herself what the role and meaning is of the human body in the context of her work and her art practice. A question that begins with an on-site investigation into how her own physical body relates to the space and to the body of the other. Snijders approaches this question like a playful investigation, with lots of interaction and exchange. Solo

2017It's sort of a thing KABK The Hague, Netherlands Is an exhibition a mere platform for presenting an artwork? Or is it an intrinsic part of the creative process? Where lies the difference and what are the implications of these different positions for the artist’s research process and artistic practice? How do various curatorial roles relate to notions of artistic autonomy? Why do artists make exhibitions anyway? Fifteen selected students are showing (re-)made and new work, whilst critically reflecting on this process and investigating the possibilities of an exhibition as a framework for research, experimentation and (re-)presentation.
