The accompanying sound is meant to artificially resemble ambience found in natural landscapes. Together, the installation plays along the boundries of what artificial and organic means in a contemporary setting, how it is reflected in everyday ecounters and how it is embraced by individuals in contrast to what is usually perceived as such.

The numerous textile costumes are placed throughout the space in different sitting and laying positions, loosely circling around the record player. The central turntable is set on a simple rectangular structure light from inside, shining light and focus onto the set up and the reflection of the ceramic plate spun by the musical apparatus. Presented during the group exhibition "Murmurmurmur", at Stichting SeeLab, Den Haag, in 2024, the installation is curated into the group show together with the other participant's works. The presented costumes inhabit the space in between the turntable and the audience. Their static and somewhat relaxed poses suggest a sort of concentration and focus on the played record. The ceramic plate which keeps turning on the player created a shimmering sound. Amplified through headphones, the audience is invited to listen to the rhythmic noise the needle creates gliding through the clay plate, while the silently audible shimmering echoes through the space in a breathing-like manner, filling the missing sound of the creatures.

2024Støring Willem Twee Kunstruimte Den Bosch, Netherlands During the new, one-day Støring Festival, which takes place in Willem Twee (Den Bosch), only artists are presented who have a personal story to tell in their songs and dare to be vulnerable. No empty messages and mindless sing-alongs, but acts that touch you in your soul and brain. Støring is a festival with depth, where mental well-being is highlighted in an accessible way. And at the same time recognizable to many! Established and upcoming (inter)national acts such as Fresku, Pjotr, Meis, PEAKS! and Crae Wolf are on stage in Willem Twee. In addition, expect art, performance art, speakers and, above all, a very nice atmosphere. www.festivalinfo.nl/festival/33683/Storing-Festival/2024/ Group

2024Festivalis Druskomanija Lithuanian Composer's Union Vilnius, Lithuania On the occasion of the anniversary festival, Druskomanija invited to propose unique ideas, thus seeking to get acquainted with the ideas, desires, needs of the musicians' community and provide an opportunity to turn all this into reality. From a large number of Lithuanian and foreign artists, the most interesting and original works were selected. The evening's performances are united by interdisciplinarity, sound explorations and, most importantly, the plasticity and movement of the body, which plunges into the waltz of "Composers' Dances". www.druskomanija.lt/ Group

As a direct continuation of the latest exhibition called 'Newborns', which took place in Trixie, The Hague in March 2023 the four artists (Siem Beets, Suzanne Plomp and Salves van der Gronde JeremI Biziuk) continue their research. Like the previously mentioned organisms, this artistic group project is slowly growing, both physically and conceptually. They physically travel to places outside The Hague. Conceptually, they grow through external stimulus in the form of the other artists and subjects of research, which this new iteration brings. Immersing themselves in their own fictional world and aesthetics, artists develop their visual language and present it as new works, in which the context of their previous creations show a clear line of inspiration and growth within their practice. 2024Shimmers///Threads Galleri Blunk Trondheim, Norway “Shimmers///Threads” is an ongoing process of Jeremi Biziuk’s artistic research and exploration. Through a series of performed soundscapes, the artist is exploring texture and weight through sound and space. To embody the heaviness of static and to move the stillness of concrete. While embodying a woven textile covering their whole body, the performer focuses completely on the presented space and crafts it into a mould for their spontaneous work. Making use of various visual stimuli, the exhibition space transforms into an ever so slightly changing shape. The result is not concrete, but its qualities of resonance, shivering and shimmering are translated directly from the image, to the noise, and vice versa.” Solo

2024Anonymous #1 Nul Zes Eindhoven, Netherlands At TAC we want to explore the essence of art, unbound from the artist’s identity. But how? Can we separate the art from the artist? What does a name, your background and experiences have to do with your work? Everything. Nothing. We believe that art speaks for itself, this is why we organised the Anonymous group exhibition. This first edition is a pilot project which will lead to a recurring part of our yearly programme. www.tac.nu/programma/expo-anonymous-1/ Group
